Last year, 2021, we started a project that fills us with pride and hope:
Energy Sistem woodland. As we look to play our part in the important task of reforestation, we have completed our first plantation in Huelva, near Doñana National Park. And this year, 2022, our woodland is growing thanks to
a new reforestation in Concejo de Llanes (Asturias). This second plantation of Energy Sistem woodland is made up of
300 native beech trees, a natural species of the area, which forms part of the impressive landscape of Asturias.
Reforestation, both in Huelva and Llanes, has been carried out in trays rather than seeding directly, as this helps ensure better root growth and effectiveness. In this important project, we once again counted on close collaboration with the Spanish environmental startup
Bosquia. With care and attention, and with all its specialists' knowledge of our ecosystem, the second plantation in Llanes is now a reality.
