‘Sonic The Hedgehog 2’ is set to be one of the biggest box office hits in 2022. Not only has the sequel grossed more than the original movie, but it has also been crowned as the best ever première for a video game adaptation. Audiences and critics alike have been wooed by SEGA’s blue hedgehog, one of the most famous characters in video games, loved by both those of us who grew up with him as well as later generations. We all loved the second instalment of the saga for its action, adventure and sense of humour. And we can finally enjoy it at home too!
Apart from the new movie, a series with the wicked Knuckles as the main character is also in the works. And we will be able to enjoy this one much sooner, as its première is scheduled for 2023 on the Paramount+ platform.
